JAKARTA, INDONESIA, Dec 27, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - The CSR Center PT Tempo Scan Pacific Tbk (Tempo Scan), through its Smile Indonesia Social Program (Program Sosial Indonesia Tersenyum or PSIT) and Bodrex Rapid Response (bodrex Reaksi Cepat or bRC), has carried out various social programs in Jabodetabek (Jakarta-Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi), the northern part of Central Java, and Bengkulu province.

In October 2013, the PSIT conducted free cleft lip and palate surgery for 10 children at RSUD Bendan, Pekalongan. In November 2013, PSIT conducted the same program for 43 children at Raflesia Hospital, Bengkulu. The program started with a screening process and post-surgery examination, involving children below the age of 16 domiciled in Bengkulu province and the surrounding area.

Iris added, "PSIT also conducted free congenital hernia surgery at RS Sentra Medika Hospital, Cikarang in December 2013. The program, which began with a screening process on December 5-6, provided services to 52 children living in Jakarta, Tangerang, Bogor, Bandung, Cianjur and Sukabumi. Through December 2013, PSIT has carried out surgery to 627 children who suffer congenital abnormalities," said Iris.
"Meanwhile, through the bodrex Rapid Response (bRC) program on November 9, 2013, Tempo Scan again offered free health services comprised of general medical check-ups, dental treatment, and Family Planning services at the Pebayuran Sektoral Police office, Bekasi District. The program offered treatment to more than 400 adults and children domiciled in Pebauran and surrounding area," said Iris.
