| Mobile Usage Has Become an Economic Influence Across the Marketing Landscape |
HONG KONG, Oct 16, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Apps King Mobile Applications Technology launched its mobile application building platform today, marking their first foray into the dynamic and important Hong Kong market.
Developed by CEO Chester LO and CTO Dr. Andrew LAI, Apps King is a revolutionary technical tool with a user-friendly interface that can be easily managed by SMEs without the need for previous technical experience.
"The use of smartphone apps in marketing and advertising is fast becoming a prevailing global trend. Apps King has chosen Hong Kong as its launchpad not only due to its high penetration of mobile subscriptions, already in excess of 230%, but also because of a business and economic environment that embraces new concepts and technologies," said Chester Lo, CEO & Co-founder of Apps King.
"Currently, there are about 300,000 SMEs in Hong Kong, some researchers predicted at least 25% of the enterprises will have their own mobile apps in 2017, ie, a potential market of 75,000 apps. With the attractive offer by Apps King, Hong Kong is the ideal testbed for our products", added Lo.
Apps King has recently established a strategic partnership with Microsoft where it will be available on Microsoft's Windows Phone and soon to be launched on Windows 8.
Mr. Andy Cheung, Architect Evangelist, Developer & Platform Evangelism, Microsoft said, "We are very pleased to team up with Apps King to fuel the growth of mobile apps and bring their usage to a new level among diverse businesses."
"As one of the most widely used mobile platforms in the world, we firmly believe that Apps King will complement our business objectives and we will provide full technical support in integrating Apps King into our platforms. We are happy to partner with Apps King to bring an affordable, easy-to-use mobile apps platform to our users and to create a holistic experience for our customers," added Cheung.
While mobile applications are strongly trending upwards and businesses are seeing worthwhile returns from mobile marketing, their cost-effectiveness can decrease with their frequent need for updating. Apps King, however, with its low initial outlay and DIY usability, will help businesses retain their competitive edge.
"Quality remains instrumental in our business. We vested in a lot of resources to build a strong team of technical experts and designers to provide eye-catching design and high functionality, and even one-to-one professional design service to our customers" said Dr. Andrew Lai, CTO & Co-founder of Apps King. "Marketers may employ a variety of strategies in their marketing mix but, undoubtedly, mobile apps are creating an even more robust connection between businesses and customers. Mobile apps, like Apps King, can be built to your specifications, so they can be tailored to fit any concept that contributes to your business, no matter how simple or complex," added Lai.
After its Hong Kong launch, Apps King will consider expanding to other regions including Mainland China, Taiwan, Japan and Singapore at a later stage.
Apps King is currently available at a market price from HK$999 to HK$5,999.
