HONG KONG, Dec 19, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Hanergy Solar Group Limited announced that the Company is in preliminary discussion with a substantial shareholder of the Company regarding a possible acquisition of a subsidiary incorporated in the United Kingdom of such substantial shareholder involved in the sales network inside the stores in the United Kingdom of a global large scale household furniture retail chain, which is an independent third party, for the provision of small scale total turnkey solar power system solutions for retail customers.
Also, Hanergy Solar is also in preliminary discussion with a large scale automobile glass manufacturer in the People's Republic of China, regarding a possible technology cooperation project relating to the development of automobile solar glass using flexible thin film solar modules.
