PT. RRC has previously handed over the Community Development Funds as much as Rp. 40 millions each to the Seruyan regency's nine villages. The fund was leveraged for a number of the development purposes for each village, such as to purchase a number of computer units, to build playgroup schools, and to purchase cattle, to name a few.
Nisa Jalil explains that in near future, PT. RRC plans to develop the Villagers Development programs by initiating the Forest Plants Nurseries, Farmer Field Schools, cage culture systems business and other aquacultures.
CEO, PT. Rimba Raya Conservation, L. Djonni Andhella asserts that the water filters distribution to the six villages will be continued to be distributed to the other three villages and it is a part of the REDD+ program implementation giving a significant influence to improve the villagers life quality.
"REDD+ program implementation conducted by PT Rimba Raya Conservation must be obviously beneficial to the improvement of the livelihood of our partner villages through a number of activities such as the Forest Plants Nurseries in order to support the reforestation and replanting throughout the critical forest areas. In addition, we are also promoting the cage culture system business and otheraquaculture business that improve the life quality of all the villagers of Seruyan regency," concluded L. Djonni Andhella.

The Regent of the Seruyan regency, Sudarsono SH, strongly supports the initiative conducted by PT. RRC and hopes that it could last as long as the concession of PT.
