TOKYO, Mar 24, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - TANAKA HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Akira Tanae) announces that, along with deciding to implement the following organizational changes, executive appointment for Tanaka Holdings and the 7 core Tanaka Kikinzoku Group companies (Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo K.K., Tanaka Kikinzoku Hanbai K.K., Tanaka Kikinzoku International K.K., Tanaka Denshi Kogyo K.K., Electroplating Engineers Of Japan, Limited, Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry K.K., and Tanaka Kikinzoku Business Service K.K.) were unofficially decided at a recently held Board of Directors meeting.
The newly appointed directors and corporate auditors are scheduled to be formally decided upon at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held at the end of March 2015, and a general meeting of shareholders as well as a Board of Directors meeting to be held at the end of June 2015.
Future organizational changes
Tanaka Kikinzoku Kogyo K.K. will merge with the domestic sales representative for industrial products, Tanaka Kikinzoku Hanbai K.K., as well as the overseas sales representative, Tanaka Kikinzoku International K.K. (as of Oct. 1, 2015). All overseas production and sales bases for Tanaka Denshi Kogyo K.K. will become the company's wholly owned subsidiaries (by July, 2015). Tanaka Holdings Co., Ltd. will merge with Tanaka Kikinzoku Business Service K.K., which is in charge of shared services and real estate management for Tanaka Kikinzoku Group (as of Oct. 1, 2015).
Purpose of organizational changes
These changes are being performed with the purpose of strengthening and developing the 3 pillars of the precious metals business (industry, assets, and jewelry) by accelerating business decisions and organizational efficiency for the Tanaka Kikinzoku Group.
