SINGAPORE, May 27, 2010 - (ACN Newswire) - Intelligent Communication Enterprise Corporation (OTC BB: ICMC), (ICE Corp) announced today that it is acquiring a controlling stake in the satellite communication terminals and systems developer THISS Technologies Pte Ltd into ICE Corp's newly formed Communications Technologies Division.
Singapore based, THISS Technologies Pte Ltd (THISS) has developed unique and revolutionary applications of the spread spectrum CDMA technology for use in satellite communications. This allows the use of satellite antennas of a much smaller size (cheaper, lighter satellite terminal equipment), than was previously possible. THISS' recent release of a 60cm C-band marine VSAT terminal is the first of its kind that's commercially available and has already attracted a lot of attention in the marine VSAT market. THISS already holds a number of patents for its antennas.
