東京, 2020年10月19日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、HCI(Hyper Converged Infrastructure)専用モデル「NEC Hyper Converged System」において、初期費用を抑えて導入できるサブスクリプションサービスとBCP対策強化を支援するクラウドバックアップソリューションを本日から販売開始します。
昨今、企業のITシステムでは、New Normal時代の働き方を見据えたテレワーク環境の整備や効率的に運用できるシステムの構築が求められる中、VDI(デスクトップ仮想化)システムの導入等において、リソースの拡張が容易なHCIの活用が注目されています。また、システムの運用・管理においては、新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡がりや自然災害の多発など緊急・災害時の事業継続性の確保がより重要になっています。
今回新たに提供するサブスクリプションサービスは、HCI専用モデル「NEC Hyper Converged System for VMware vSAN」をシステム構築から保守までを月額サービスとして利用できる「NEC Hyper Converged System ベンダファイナンスプログラム」として提供します(注1)。また、自然災害などによる障害時にITシステム・データの継続性強化を支援する「NEC Hyper Converged System クラウドバックアップソリューション」を用意しました。
NECは、これらにより、クラウドサービスを有効活用したBCP対策の強化やオンプレミス環境においてもクラウド環境のような柔軟なシステム拡張や運用管理の効率化を支援し、New Normal時代における変化に柔軟に対応でき、安定稼働するITシステムの構築に貢献します。
