NewOcean Energy Secures Two-Year Contract from HKSAR Government to Supply Quality Ultra-low Sulphur Diesel to Government Fleets

Hong Kong, Jan 7, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - NewOcean Energy Holdings Limited ("NewOcean Energy" or the "Group;" stock code: 00342), a leading Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) operator in the Southern China region, announced that it has secured a contract from the HKSAR Government in collaboration with Shell Hong Kong Limited. The Group is to deliver not less than 15,000,000 litres of quality ultra-low sulphur diesel and provide comprehensive ancillary services to all Government-owned vessels for two years starting from mid-January this year.

The Group's marine bunkering station, which is located at Yaumatei in Hong Kong will provide 24-hour service to vessels of 11 Government departments including the Fire Services Department and Customs and Excise Department. NewOcean Energy's fleet will also deliver ultra-low sulphur diesel directly to the Marine Police Headquarters in Aberdeen.

Mr. Lawrence Shum, Managing Director of NewOcean Energy, said, "We are pleased to
secure the contract, which is a recognition from the HKSAR Government and industry leaders of our outstanding qualifications and capabilities in conducting marine bunkering business in Hong Kong. This success also underscores the progress of our marine bunkering business, which commenced operation since May last year. The construction of our oil depot in Zhuhai will soon be completed and we therefore look forward to achieving greater development of our oil products business."
