| Shinsuke Mori and Jay Kim will lead Glu's efforts to grow 1st and 3rd party publishing in Japan and Korea |
San Francisco, Aug 8, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Glu Mobile Inc. (NASDAQ: GLUU), a leading global developer and publisher of free-to-play games for smartphone and tablet devices, today announced that the company has expanded its operations in Asia in both Japan and Korea. Gaming veterans Shinsuke Mori and Jay Kim will lead offices in Tokyo and Seoul respectively, with a focus on growing 1st and 3rd party publishing. Glu recently opened an office in Seoul and is establishing a legal entity in Japan.

Original Glu IP continues to fuel growth in Asia as titles like Eternity Warriors II, Frontline Commando: D-Day, and Contract Killer 2 grow in consumer popularity. The company's Non-GAAP smartphone revenues in APAC have grown 32% year over year.
Glu's 3rd party publishing business is quickly adding new titles to the distribution pipeline and is on track to launch 6 titles in 2013, with at least 12 in 2014. The program has expanded beyond publishing only proven successes, to incubating titles still in development. The company has already begun exploring opportunities to work with proven talent and teams on titles that are still in pre-launch, development stages.
Shinsuke Mori - Glu Japan
Shinsuke Mori will be joining Glu as Japan Country Manager and brings deep expertise in the Japanese gaming market. Prior to Glu, Mori held various positions at GREE including Head of Product at GREE UK. Jay Kim - Glu Korea
Jay Kim recently joined Glu as Korea Country Manager and will oversee the growth of Glu's business in the Korean market. With over 10 years of sales and marketing experience in the gaming/IT industry, Kim brings strong gaming experience and a wealth of industry connections to the Korean gaming industry.
