COVINGTON, Ky., Jan 15, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Ashland Inc. (NYSE: ASH) today announced that it plans to report financial results for the first quarter of fiscal 2014 after the New York Stock Exchange closes on Monday, January 27, 2014, and to host a webcast with investors at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
Historically, Ashland has reported its quarterly earnings and hosted its conference call with investors on the same day. Based on feedback from analysts and investors, the company has decided to move to a new trial format.
Ashland plans to issue its first-quarter earnings news release on Monday, January 27, 2014, at approximately 5 p.m. ET. At the same time, the company will post a slide presentation and prepared remarks in the Investor Relations section of its website at http://investor.ashland.com. The live webcast with investors, which will include an executive summary and detailed remarks, will take place at 9 a.m. ET on Tuesday, January 28.
In attendance at the presentation will be: James J. O'Brien, chairman and chief executive officer; J. Kevin Willis, senior vice president and chief financial officer; Luis Fernandez-Moreno, president of Ashland Specialty Ingredients; and Jason L. Thompson, director, investor relations.
