Flowserve began integrating its products into snow-making systems in the early 1980s. Partnering with Torrent Engineering & Equipment, LLC, and having an installed customer base at more than 500 ski resorts across the globe, Flowserve has a big responsibility in the system that will provide snow at the ski venues during the games.

The snow-making system at Sochi includes more than 20 Flowserve vertical turbine high-pressure pumps.
