Denmark, Apr 16, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Leakage-free pumps are a top priority in any machining process. Leaking pumps may lead to costly downtime and in turn influence the part cost. But with the new MTR DBT pump, that risk is efficiently eliminated.
DBT stands for "Drainage Back to Tank". This means that the liquid remains in the tank where it is supposed to be - even if the shaft seal is worn out and starts to leak. In addition to being leakage-free, the new MTR DBT pump is available with an innovative frequency drive motor that reduces energy consumption to further cut the part costs.
Grundfos Pumps K.K. (Japan) released the small MTR DBT (MTR1/3/5) and plans to release the medium MTR DBT (MTR10/15/20) this year. Step by step, the large MTR DBT (MTR32/45/64) will follow.
