The demand for exhibition space at dmexco from companies in Germany and abroad has been greater than ever this year. As the official deadline for registrations on April 30 approaches, more than 580 exhibitors have already secured their stand areas at dmexco 2014. Especially among the big players of the global digital economy, there is a trend toward increasing the size of exhibitors' stand areas. The growth of individual stand areas already increased significantly after the end of the early-bird registration phase. Overall, exhibition space of more than 60,000 m2 in three completely booked halls is expected at dmexco 2014. This year's event will feature the debut of a joint stand sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) for innovative young companies.
In addition to exhibitors from Germany, dmexco 2014 is seeing considerably increased interest from international companies. For the first time ever, exhibitors from Japan, Uruguay, the Czech Republic, Italy, Malta, Denmark, and Sweden have registered for the fair. In addition, dmexco has once again received registrations from all the significant market participants from the USA, including Microsoft, eBay, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Yahoo!, Adobe, and AOL. Top companies from the eastern hemisphere such as Yandex (Russia) and Baidu (China) will also be represented. The dmexco country pavilion for Austria and Switzerland has once again received an enthusiastic response; almost 50 companies from the Austrian and Swiss digital economies have already registered to participate. Last but not least, the dmexco satellites in the UK and France have generated additional international growth for dmexco 2014: both of these countries will be represented by more exhibitors than ever before.
