COMPUTEX, Taipei, June 4, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - In 2009 msi announced that it was officially entering the All-in-one (AIO) PC market and making it a key area of development. To demonstrate its commitment to the AIO market, msi has released a complete range of AIO products to meet consumer needs. These include the AP1900 slim professional system, the AE1900 aesthetic touch control system, the AE2010/AE2000 touch control leather system, the large-display AE2200 multimedia entertainment system as well as the AE2201 that was recently unveiled in a global product launch.
The Wind Top AIO is not a conventional PC. Instead of a separate display and computer, the CPU, memory, HDD, DVD burner, wireless NIC. 1.3 Megapixel webcam and I/O ports are all integrated into the back of the 16:9 cinema-grade widescreen display. It is also fitted with a responsive touch control screen and HiFI stereo speakers that deliver SRS Premium Sound in 5.1 channel 3D surround to deliver everything you may need in one package.
The AE1900 was the first AIO PC from msi with touch control panel. The one-piece translucent bezel gives the system a boutique look that enhances the home dcor without taking up unnecessary space. Within just a few days of being launched in April, the AE1900 attracted widespread media attention. Leading global media outlet CNN even ran report on the AE1900 for "Earth Day" on April 22 and gave it their thumbs up.
CNN's presenter and environmental technology expert were particularly impressed with Wind Top AE1900's energy-saving features, the "MSI Wind Touch UI" user interfaced developed especially for the Wind Top series as well as the accompanying range of exclusive applications that offer users an even better large screen touch control experience. As the AE1900 consumes just 50W of electricity when running at full power each hour, this means it uses just 20% of the average desktop computer's 250W. msi has also revealed its 20" AE2010 Classic Leather system and the 22" AE2200 multimedia entertainment system that come installed with the Windows Vista Home Premium operating system. In the AE2010, the use of leather delivers an exclusive touch for its 20" cinema-grade 16:9 widescreen display with a sensitive touch control screen built in. The integrated ATI Radeon(TM) HD3200 chip delivers improved 3D graphics and supports HD multimedia needs; the AE2200 is equipped with the Intel Core 2 Duo processor so high performance is guaranteed. With its 21.6" Full HD (1920x1080) widescreen display, 7.1 channel surround sound, DVD burner and easy to use Media Center Entertainment (MCE) remote control, the AE2200 is not just a desktop PC - it can be placed in the lounge room as a small multimedia entertainment center.
