Singapore, June 10, 2009 - (ACN Newswire) - Black & Veatch, a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company, announced today that Len C. Rodman, Chairman, President and CEO, will be one of three keynote speakers at the "Sustainable Water Solutions for Cities" plenary forum at the Water Leaders Summit, part of the second annual Singapore International Water Week. Other senior Black & Veatch leaders will also share their knowledge of the global water and wastewater industry at this year's conference, to be held 22-26 June at Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Rodman, who also serves as a member of Singapore's Environmental and Water Technologies International Advisory Panel, is the only keynote speaker from a private company to be asked to speak at the 23 June plenary forum. "As founding sponsors of the event, we will again share knowledge, ideas and best practices with leading water and wastewater experts," Rodman said. "We will address industry challenges, showcase technologies, discover new opportunities and celebrate achievements at this world-class conference," McCarthy said. "Advanced technology solutions are becoming increasingly important to the water and wastewater industry, so many of our experts and Global Practice & Technology Leaders have been asked to present case studies from around the world as examples of success stories."
