PEMBROKE, Bermuda, Sept 10, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:ENH), a Bermuda-based specialty provider of property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, announced today that Michael Grundmeyer has joined Endurance Global Weather (EGW) in the newly-formed role of Director of Origination for the Americas. EGW writes tailored weather-driven risk management products for corporations and municipalities that protect against variations in weather conditions and weather-driven commodity prices.
Mr. Grundmeyer joins Endurance from 3TIER Inc., a technology and data analytics firm serving the renewable energy industry, where he worked since 2008 as Managing Director responsible for developing financial risk management tools for energy trading companies as well as wind and solar project developers and financiers. He also held prior business and product development roles with Merrill Lynch Global Markets and Koch Energy Trading.
