HONG KONG, Sept 24, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - LVGEM (China) Real Estate Investment Company Ltd. ("LVGEM CHINA" or "the Group"; stock code: 95) announced that its company name has been changed to:
English name: LVGEM (China) Real Estate Investment Company Limited
The stock short name of the Group for trading in the Shares on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong will be changed with effect from 9:00 a.m. on 29 September 2014:
New English stock short name: LVGEM CHINA
Ms. Huang Jingshu, Chairman of LVGEM CHINA, said, "The new company name reflects our new corporate image, and marks a new milestone in our development. The Chinese property market has huge potential for growth in the long run. As the new management team has fully participated in formulating a clear development roadmap, we expect the new business direction to bring new dynamic development. New board members have abundant experience in China's property industry and are currently evaluating quality property development projects in Shenzhen, Hong Kong and the Yangtze River Delta. The range of projects includes non-residential projects such as office and commercial facilities including shopping malls, with the aim to accelerate the expansion of the Group's land bank and pace of development, hence generating revenue for the Group. Recently, there are signs that the macro-economic restriction measures may be relaxed, which in turn will release the constrained purchasing power in the market. The management believes that these positive indicators should speed up its development pace and generate better and higher returns for shareholders in the long term.
