HONG KONG, Dec 19, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Freetech Road Recycling Technology (Holdings) Limited ("Freetech", or the "Group;" stock code: 6888), a leading and fast-growing service provider in the asphalt pavement maintenance ("APM") industry using "Hot-in-Place" recycling technology, today announced the successful completion of the Chongqing municipal road maintenance project.
As a municipality city directly under the Central Government of the People's Republic of China, Chongqing is the economic and financial center in the upstream area of the Yangtze River with densely inhabited district and uneven terrain. This road construction project had difficulty because it was located at one of the five most congested urban roads surrounded by business zones and universities. Finally, the Group successfully completed the project by using the patented "Hot-in-Place" technology and equipment.
The Group has achieved 100% recycling of original materials and zero emission of solid waste in the construction. Comparatively, the project will produce 3600 tons of solid waste by using the traditional technologies. Further, the construction speed by using Group equipment was faster than that by using traditional method which shortened the construction duration, reduced the impact on people's lives and decreased traffic congestion in the construction.
About Hot-in-Place Technology
Hot-in-Place Technology is used in asphalt pavement maintenance, an on-site, in-place technology that rehabilitates deteriorated asphalt pavements through heating, scarifying and mixing the damaged asphalt materials with new materials and thereby minimises the use of new materials. The primary purpose of this process is to repair pavement damages such as cracks, ruts and holes, and bumps.
