| Fully Demonstrates the Success of Fulum Group's Multi-brand Strategy |
HONG KONG, Mar 22, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Fulum Group Holdings Limited ("Fulum Group" or "the Group," stock code: 1443), a renowned and preferred Chinese restaurant chain operator in Hong Kong, is pleased to announce that "MeokBang Korean BBQ & Bar", a specialty cuisine restaurant targeting young customers, is opening its third and fourth restaurants in Canal Road West, Causeway Bay and Cameron Road, Tsim Sha Tsui in April.
To complement its multi-brand strategy, the Group has strived to expand the specialty cuisine restaurant line. "MeokBang Korean BBQ & Bar" was established in mid-2014 to keep abreast with the latest market trend and preferences. The restaurant mainly targets young customers. The first restaurant that opened last August in Prince Edward and soon whet the appetites of customers by offering different Korean cuisines and a genuine Korean BBQ experience. In view of the overwhelming response, Fulum Group opened the second restaurant in Causeway Bay which further attracted more customers with stronger spending power. These two restaurants have recorded encouraging results and managed to break-even in just three months, with around HK$190 per capita spending.
In light of the satisfactory performance of the first two "MeokBang Korean BBQ & Bar" restaurants and the popularity among customers, the Group will open two more in the premium areas of Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui in this April. The two new restaurants will occupy 5,000 and 4,500 sq. ft. respectively, with a simple and modern design, so its customers can enjoy the local dishes in a Korean ambience.
