HONG KONG, Mar 31, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Hin Sang Group (International) Holding Co. Ltd. ("Hin Sang" or the "Group;" stock code: 6893), a brand management company and distributor with a focus on health care, personal care, skin care and household products, has today announced the establishment of the "Hin Sang Scholarship" with a kick-off ceremony at Dragon Centre. Officiating at the ceremony were Mr. Pang Siu Hin, Chairman, CEO and Executive Director of Hin Sang; Ms. Kwan Lai Man, Managing Director and Executive Director of Hin Sang; Mr. Chan Han Pan, JP, Member of the Legislative Council; Mr. Chu King Yuen, BBS MH, JP, Chairman of Hong Kong New Territories Headmasters Conference; and Mr. Cheung Kwok Keung and Ms. June Chan, the "Hin Sang Scholarship" ambassadors.

The objective of setting up the "Hin Sang Scholarship" is to reward and sponsor the disadvantaged young primary students in Hong Kong, so as to encourage their all-around development and enhance their strengths to contribute to society in the future. In the first year of the Scholarship, 10 primary school students in Hong Kong will be selected. The criteria include significantly improved results and teacher's positive comments on their conduct, learning attitude and ability. Each winner is to receive the "Hin Sang Scholarship" of HK$40,000, additional great prizes valued at HK$10,000 and a certificate of appreciation.
Apart from the scholarship, the Group has always strived to contribute to society in a variety of other ways, actively fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by participating in and supporting charity activities for a wide range of worthwhile causes. Today, the Group has also donated skin care products with the value of exceeding HK$10,000,000 to New Territories Association of Societies, with the sincere hope of aiding the underprivileged groups and expressing its care to more people in need.
