Canon Announces Business Expansion Investment in Singapore
Launch of the Canon Print Hub will drive efficiency and productivity savings, and enhance customer experiences at the Singapore Sports Hub

SINGAPORE, Apr 2, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Canon, the global leader in photographic and digital imaging solutions, today announced the launch of Canon Print Hub. The facility located at the Singapore Sports Hub will offer Canon's solutions to enhance work productivity and optimise cost savings for the Singapore Sports Hub, its partners and external customers. The set up of the Canon Print Hub will drive efficiencies and productivity savings for the Singapore Sports Hub totalling approximately SGD$2 million over five years.

Canon Announces Canon Print Hub

With the launch of Canon Print Hub, the Singapore Sports Hub and its partners will have immediate access to Canon's expertise in document management solutions, managed document services, mailroom services, creative services and print production services. This will allow for a quicker, more cost-effective turnaround of marketing collaterals and materials during events held at the Singapore Sports Hub. In addition, co-locating Canon Print Hub within the Singapore Sports Hub facility will allow the Singapore Sports Hub to implement marketing communication campaigns at shorter notices offering more dynamic customer engagement programs.

As of 1 April 2015, Canon Business Services (CBS), a business unit of Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd. has set up Canon Print Hub offering the Singapore Sports Hub and its consortium members print and print advisory services. Since its setup in 2012, CBS has grown over 200%, offering a common global menu of services designed to assist customers in more effectively managing their document input-output environments and document processes. This contributes to improved productivity and reduced costs for customers through the building and operation of optimized print and document delivery environments in offices. However cost control is not the only benefit, as companies require print advisory services to create consistency in brand communications, improve quality of materials and reduce the complexity of advertising and promotion deployment.

Canon Print Hub is an extension to the Managed Document Services platform that the Singapore Sports Hub initially subscribed to.
