Robert Walters Global Salary Survey: Want to know if you're paid fairly? Use the Instant Salary Checker to find out

TOKYO, Feb 28, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Workers can now find out how much they are really worth with the Instant Salary Checker iPhone app, launched today by recruitment specialists Robert Walters.

The app provides users with instant access to pay rates for all professionals - whether you're a secretary or a CFO.

Want to find out what you're worth in other countries? The app allows you to compare pay globally. For example, Marketing Managers will quickly be able to see that they are worth 6-13 mil. yen in Tokyo, 5.3-7.9 mil. yen in London and 5.1-6.4 mil. yen in Singapore.

David Swan, Managing Director of Japan and Korea at Robert Walters, comments: "Industry professionals can now find out instantly whether they are being paid the market rate through our innovative new app, which contains data for thousands of jobs in Japan, Korea and globally."

About the Robert Walters Instant Salary Checker App

Drawing on data from the Robert Walters Global Salary Survey, the Instant Salary Checker App contains a database of salaries and contract rates by role and sector. Using GPS technology, the app automatically recognises the location of the user, who can then simply choose their professional discipline and job title to generate their current market rate. They can also see how this has changed in the previous two years. The app allows users to register for the firm's quarterly market updates or to locate the nearest Robert Walters office and its phone number, which the user can call instantaneously if they choose.

The Instant Salary Survey App is available to download now for iPhone (and iPad) users from the iPhone app store.
