BEIJING, Aug 25, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - According to the recent research of Himfr.com by yesterday, the three major domestic carriers have announced the performance in the first half. China Mobile's profits are 6 times and 24 times of Telecom and Unicom respectively. Unicom is the only operator whose profit declined.
Himfr.com (http://www.himfr.com/hot-products/) reports that in the first half of this year, China Mobile's turnover is 250.1 billion yuan, an increase of 8.8%. The 61.3 billion yuan of net profit grows 6.3% compared with the same period of last year. Its average daily net profit of 334 million yuan once again confirmed the strong profitability of China Mobile.
Himfr.com (http://www.himfr.com/list-product-telecommunications-28000000-1.html) points out that China Telecom's profits grow the fastest. The revenues were 120.208 billion yuan in the first half of this year, an increase of 11%. The net profit was 9.808 billion yuan, an increase of 8%. The China Unicom achieved revenues of 108.385 billion, an increase of 22.9%, much higher than China Mobile and Telecom (http://www.himfr.com/buy-internet_telephone_systems/). But the net profit was only 2.637 billion, a decrease of 5.5%.
The analysts of Himfr.com said that the high subsidy for iPhone end-users is the reason that causes Unicom's (http://www.himfr.com/cs-china_mobile_unicom/) high revenue and low profits.
