Taipei, Nov 16, 2011 (ACN) - IC packaging and testing services provider Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Inc. (ASE) has reported unaudited net revenue of NT$46.698 billion for the third quarter of 2011, up by 1% from the previous quarter, but down 9% year-on-year. Net income for the quarter totaled NT$3.468 billion, down from NT$5.46 billion in same period last year, and down from a net income of NT$3.64 billion in 2Q11.
Diluted earnings per share for the quarter were NT$0.52 (or $0.089 per ADS), compared to diluted earnings per share of NT$0.81 for 3Q10 and diluted earnings per share of NT$0.54 for 2Q11.
