Taipei, Nov 16, 2011 (ACN) - Far EasTone has announced unaudited consolidated total revenue of NT$6.43 billion for October 2011, while year-to-date revenue reached NT$62.167 billion. Consolidated EBITDA and net income were NT$2.048 billion and NT$870 million, respectively, while unaudited EPS stands at NT$0.27.
FET also recorded mobile data revenue of NT$ 1.158 billion, up 44% year-on-year, driven by the accelerated growth of mobile internet and access service. In addition, the content of four asset bases – FET S-Mart, Omusic, FET eBook Town and FET Video Store – successfully met market demands and downloads have been growing rapidly. In October, FET launched Taiwan's first app with online payment called "ELLE Beauty App", which tapped the business opportunities of department store anniversary celebration successfully.
