Detroit, Michigan, June 1, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc., (AAM), which is traded as AXL on the NYSE, today announced the following officer appointments:
David A. Culton has been named president, AAM - Americas. Previously, he served as president, AAM - Europe. In his new role, Culton will lead AAM's business and manufacturing operations in North and South America.
Steven J. Proctor has been named president, AAM - Europe. Proctor previously served as president, AAM - Asia. In his new role, Proctor will lead AAM's business and manufacturing operations in Europe, including e-AAM Driveline Systems AB in Trollhttan, Sweden.
John S. Sofia has been appointed vice president, Program Management & Launch. Sofia previously served as vice president - Commercial Vehicle Business. In his new role, Sofia will lead AAM's global product, process and systems launch activities.
