Jeffrey M. Stamps to Retire as Executive Vice President and President of Omnicare's Long-Term Care Group

CINCINNATI, OH, Sept 28, 2012 - (ACN Newswire) - Omnicare, Inc. (NYSE: OCR) today announced that Jeffrey M. Stamps, R.Ph., Executive Vice President and President Long-Term Care Division plans to retire from the Company, effective November 15, 2012.

"While we will miss Jeff's contributions, we are confident our Long-Term Care executive team will continue to build upon the progress we have made toward achieving our operating objectives," said Nitin Sahney, Omnicare's President and Chief Operating Officer.
