| Largest HKTDC Pavilion to Grace Marche du Film |
HONG KONG, May 14, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Leading Hong Kong filmmakers will feature their latest cinematic projects at Marche du Film, the world's largest film market, which runs 15-26 May as part of the concurrent 66th Festival de Cannes (Cannes Film Festival).

It will include six Hong Kong exhibitors organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), as well as another six companies organised by the Hong Kong Motion Picture Association (MPIA), which secured funding from CreateHK and support from the Movie Producers & Distributors Association of Hong Kong. The 12 Hong Kong companies will showcase their latest productions, discuss co-production projects and talk financing and marketing with buyers from all over the world.

"We are organising the Hong Kong Pavilion for the eighth year running to promote Hong Kong's vibrant and creative film industry to international markets," said HKTDC Assistant Executive Director Raymond Yip, who added that the pavilion will take advantage of growing interest in Asian cinema at Cannes.
