Chinese Enterprises and Companies Gather at Global Alliance Partners Conference co-hosted by CCPIT with Quam

BEIJING, June 4, 2013 - (ACN Newswire) - Global Alliance Partners (GAP, www.globalalliancepartners.com), an international network organization of financial partners focused on the mid-capital market, highlighted its three-day conference in Beijing by gathering before the members of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) on 31 May 2013 to provide Chinese enterprises and companies interested in investing abroad - with relevant information and possible projects.

CCPIT vice chairman Mr. Yu Ping in his opening remarks said, "I feel that we will have much to gain from establishing a mutually beneficial cooperation between CCPIT and GAP. Chinese enterprises who wish to invest overseas will require professional services, timely and effective information, and they hope to collaborate more with prospective partners."

Quam Financial Services Group (Quam), whose holding company Quam Limited was listed on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong in 1997 (SEHK: 0952, www.quamlimited.com), co-hosted with CCPIT - the Global Alliance Partners Conference dubbed "Investing Beyond the Wall".

Quam chairman Mr. Bernard Pouliot said, "SME's face less political pressure than SOE's when investing overseas and thus have easier SAFE approvals. Deals are smaller and less politically sensitive.

"However, compared to SOE's," Mr. Pouliot further explained, "the SME's don't have an in-house financial investment team to guide and assist them professionally in the acquisition process. This is exactly where GAP fits in."

The GAP Conference was a gathering of Chinese corporates and professional investors worldwide. At one part, Chinese corporates presented to members of Global Alliance Partners on what business opportunities they are looking for beyond China. And at another part, GAP members presented to Chinese investors on what business opportunities they can offer by way of selling minority/majority stakes in companies, acquiring brand distribution, or forming a joint venture.
