HONG KONG, Jan 27, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global", or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code: 00967.HK) is pleased to announce that it formally entered into a contract for the sewage treatment plant network project located in Wood Park in Siyang County, Jiangsu Province, the PRC (the "Siyang Wood Park Project").
The Siyang Wood Park Project is situated at Suqian City, Jiangsu Province. The project is invested, constructed, operated and transferred by Sound Global, with a daily capacity of 15,000 tonnes and expected long-term daily capacity of 30,000 tonnes. The project has a licensed operating term of 30 years with total investments amounting to approximately RMB60 million. The term of construction is around 12 months. It is expected that the construction will be completed and operation will commence by the end of December 2014. The completion and operation of the project will represent an important demonstrative leading function for the overall industrial park environmental governance along the coastal developed provinces like northern Jiangsu Province or even the surrounding provinces and regions.
Following the Hongze Project, Siyang Rural Project and Donghai Project, the Siyang Wood Park Project will become another example of Sound Global's sewage treatment projects in northern Jiangsu Province. The completion of these projects will significantly improve the COD discharge in the regions covered and drive the friendly and harmonious development of sewage environment.
