HONG KONG, Aug 19, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global", or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code: 967) is pleased to announce that it has won the bid of an operation and maintenance("O&M") project of four sewage treatment plants located in three towns and the Environmental Protection and Technology City in Tinghu District, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province.
These sewage treatment plants, with a daily total treatment capacity of 18,000 tonnes are designed to meet Grade 1A Standards set out in the "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants"(GB18918-2002). The operation period is 25 years and Sound Global is responsible for the operation and transfer of the project.
Mr. Wen Yibo, Chairman of Sound Global, comments that Jiangsu Province is a major industrial province in China, and Yancheng City, known as the "Metropolis of Eastern Wetlands", is the biggest prefecture-level city with the vastest marine area in Jiangsu Province.
