HONG KONG, Oct 10, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has won the bid for a sewage treatment plant BOT project in towns of Tongjiang County, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, the PRC.
The project will be invested and constructed by Sound Global Ltd. The total investment in the sewage treatment project amounts to approximately RMB150 million, covering 18 towns of Tongjaing County, including Tiefo, Mashi, Guangna, Zhicheng, Shaxi, Minsheng, Fuyang, Huoju, Chenhe, Xinchang, Washi, Yongan, Tiexi, Hongkou, Qingyu, Banqiaokou, Nixi and Yangbo, for a concession period of 30 years. The project has adopted SMART technique for township sewage treatment exclusively owned by Sound Global. Recently, the construction of the project has started in 11 towns, with designed daily sewage treatment capability of 11,400 tonnes. It plans to start construction for the remaining 7 towns in 2016, with daily sewage treatment being increased to 23,000 tonnes. The construction of the project plays an important role in realizing the urbanization and the sustainable development of Tongjiang County.
To date, Sound Global has penetrated the township sewage treatment market in the provinces such as Jiangsu, Hunan, Fujian, Shandong, Hebei, Liaoning, Shaanxi, Guizhou and Sichuan.
