HONG KONG, Oct 20, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code:967) is pleased to announce that it has won the bid for the public-private partnership ("PPP") bundled project of 13 sewage treatment plants in Tongzi County, Guizhou Province, the PRC.
Situated in Tongzi County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, the bundled project of 13 sewage treatment plants in Tongzi County comprises of No.2 Sewage Treatment Plant and 12 sewage treatment plants within Tongzi County, with other supporting piped network projects. The project is invested and constructed by Sound Global under the mode of PPP promoted by the Ministry of Finance, with a daily total treatment capacity of 37,200 tonnes. The treatment capacity of phase I is 26,200 tonnes, while the aggregate investment for it is approximately RMB180 million. The project is designed to meet the Grade 1B standards as defined in the "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants" (GB18918-2002). It has a licensed operating term of 30 years. The construction of this project will contribute greatly to improvement of living conditions of the local people and strengthening the ecological improvement in rural areas.

Furthermore, this project provides an economically viable solution for the environmental management in the towns and rural areas in the PRC. The commencement of the project will accelerate Sound Global's pace in expanding its foothold in Southwest China and the entire Country as Tongzi County is in a strategic location that spreads along Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou.
