HONG KONG, Nov 20, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - With its rapid development, Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code: 967) today entered into a facility agreement with the Asian Development Bank ("ADB"), following its recent announcement of winning a sewage treatment plant BOT project in Huazhou (Yangmei) Food Processing Base in Guangdong Province and the other project in Tongling Economic and Technological Development Zone. The facility of USD100 million and a syndicated loan of initial size of USD200 million in the future will be used for financing the wastewater treatment projects of Sound Global in rural areas of China, driving meaningful eco-friendly results at scale through a suite of Sound Global's proprietary products SMART(note).
ADB and Sound Global have established a close partnership with each other following this facility. It's quite welcome for both parties in a bid to improve regional development and environment. The facility agreement entered with ADB, an internationally renowned and respected bank, has demonstrated the confidence of the bank in the Company's financial health, market leadership, expansion strategy and steadily growing prospects.
