HONG KONG, Dec 3, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company"; Hong Kong Stock Code: 967) recently entered into a wastewater treatment DBO (Design-Build-Operation) contract with Furuide Leather Industrial Co., Ltd, which involves design, construction and an operating period of 10 years, and stipulates that tail water discharge shall comply with the "Standards on Discharge of Industrial Wastewater from Leather and Fur Processing"(GB 30486-2013), the latest standards of the State. The contract amount is approximately RMB455 million.
Furuide Leather Industrial Co., Ltd currently has a daily processing capacity of over 10,000 cowhides and 10,000 footwear leathers, and will become one of Asia's largest leather producers after its capacity is fully put into operation. The DBO model for industrial wastewater treatment was tailored by Sound Global for Furuide Leather Industrial Co., Ltd by fully exerting the Company's professional advantage in wastewater treatment services. It will also enable Furuide Leather Industrial Co., Ltd to break through the development bottleneck in pollution treatment, concentrate on product improvement and promote corporate development.
