HONG KONG, Feb 17, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company") announced that the Company won the bid for the water diversion engineering BOT (Building, Operate and Transfer) project in Fengshukeng, Xinshao County, Hunan Province, China. The total investment of the project is approximately RMB180 million. The construction of the project can greatly alleviate the problems of serious shortage in water supply capacity and poor water quality in Xinshao County and is of significant importance to the sustainable development of Xinshao County.
Located in Xinshao County, Hunan Province, the project is invested, constructed and operated by Sound Global by way of BOT model with a short-term designed water supply capacity of 50,000 tonnes per day. The construction of the project includes the external water diversion, water pipelines, a water supply plant and water distribution main pipeline with a concession term of 30 years.
The water diversion engineering BOT project in Xinshao County with a capacity of 50,000 tonnes/day is another water investment project following Sound Global's successful implementation of the sewage treatment plant BOT project in Leiyang City, Hunan Province with a capacity of 100,000 tonnes/day. The implementation of the water diversion engineering BOT project in Xinshao County is conducive to expanding the urban water supply project in Hunan Province and accelerating the development of Sound Global's water supply distribution network nationwide.
