Scan Inter (SET:SCN) Debuts with Aggressive Campaign to Expand CNG Businesses
Touts Technological Innovations for Industrial Clients as Drivers of Robust Revenue Growth

BANGKOK, Feb 26, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Scan Inter PCL, or SCN, a provider of integrated CNG-related services, debuted today on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET:SCN). SCN expected a warm welcome from investors, after winning their confidence with its business strategy. Its management pledged to provide full service in the CNG businesses, and stressed its patented CNG technology innovations will enable it to supply CNG to plants beyond the pipeline routes. Kasikorn Securities highlighted SCN's strong fundamentals, including its technological innovations that will propel its business growths for years to come.

Mr. Thanchart Kitpipit, Managing Director of SCN, said that today was the first trading day on the Stock Exchange of Thailand for 300,000,000 SCN shares, which have been issued to the public during an initial public offering between 16 and 18 February, for a subscription price of THB 5.00 each (par value: THB 0.50). He expressed confidence that the listing will be warmly welcomed by the investors.

"We seek to become a top innovator in the Asia-Pacific energy market. Therefore, we are committed to conducting rigorous research and development projects on compressed natural gas, or CNG (especially natural gas for vehicles, or NGV). We also produce and assemble gas compressors. We even conduct research and studies on machines and equipment, and many of our machines have been successfully patented. This will promote our operating growths," he said.

Mr. Manpong Senanarong, Managing Director - Investment Banking Business of Kasikorn Securities Public Company Limited, SCN's Financial Advisor, added that SCN has great potential for corporate growth along with rising energy demand in Thailand. The company has secured a long-term contract under which it is engaged to provide to PTT Public Company Limited CNG-related solutions ranging from transport of natural gas from PTT's pipelines to customers' sites, to operation of mother stations where gas is compressed for PTT, and of gas supply chain and logistics businesses. It also transports natural gas to industrial plants and designs, installs and maintains tools and equipment for CNG service stations and CNG-related equipment, he noted.

SCN holds patents for natural gas-related inventions, which enhances its business potential as the patented inventions can be exploited for expansion of its natural gas businesses to cater to the ever rising demand for energy.

"Given the company's strong fundamentals, we believe that SCN's stock will be greeted with enthusiasm for equity participation in this highly successful business," he concluded.

SCN's stock ended its first-day trade at Baht 12.40, up 148% from its IPO price of Baht 5.
