HONG KONG, Feb 25, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - Sound Global Ltd. ("Sound Global" or the "Company") shows robust business performance with new projects recently announced, namely Wuyi Er Wu BOT project and Feitian mine EPC project. Total investment of the BOT project is approximately RMB80.00 million, while the EPC contract amount is approximately RMB23.19 million. The EPC project announcement just reflects the Company's commitment to improve transparency by announcing EPC projects awarded through public tender.
Feitian mine EPC project
Feitian mine EPC project includes Feitian Mine Phase I & II domestic water purification station, underground water treatment station and domestic sewage treatment station construction EPC turnkey project (the "Feitian Mine Project").
The Feitian Mine Project is located at Bijie City, Guizhou Province. The construction is an EPC turnkey project covering the entire process from design, procurement, construction, trial operation to service (including completion inspection and acceptance). The construction is divided into three parts, namely domestic sewage treatment station, domestic water purification station and underground water treatment station. The quality of water discharge from the domestic sewage treatment station is designed to Class I standard as set out in the Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978-1996). The quality of water discharge from the domestic water purification station is designed to the prevailing national standards as set out in the Standards for Drinking Water Quality (GB20426-2006). The quality of water discharge from the underground water treatment station is designed to the standard as set out in Emission Standard for Pollutants from Coal Industry (GB20426-2006). The total contract value is approximately RMB23.19 million.
Wuyi Er Wu BOT project
Sound Global has won the bid of Wuyi County NO.2 sewage treatment plant BOT project at Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province, the People's Republic of China ("Wuyi Er Wu Project"). Total investment is approximately RMB80.00 million with a concession term of 25 years.
Wuyi Er Wu Project which is invested, constructed, operated and transferred by Sound Global, with a planned capacity of 30,000 tonnes/day and a short-term designed capacity of 15,000 tonnes/day. The quality of water discharged is designed to Class IA standard as set out in the national standard for the Discharge Standards on Pollutants from Urban Sewage Treatment Plants (GB18918-2002). The completion and operation of the project will represent an important demonstrative leading function for the overall environmental governance in Zhejiang Province as well as the surrounding provinces and regions of Lake Tai.
