DOCOMO's "WOW! NINJA in SHIBUYA" Video Now Available Online

TOKYO, Nov 23, 2018 - (JCN Newswire) - NTT DOCOMO, INC. announced today that it has released the WOW! NINJA in SHIBUYA video to promote the company's new WOW! JAPAN website, where inbound tourists to Japan can find diverse information about Japanese culture, sightseeing and travel experiences. The video contains scenes of animated ninjas performing on the Shibuya MODI building's outdoor screen, and also features a real-life ninja encountering surprised foreign visitors walking through Tokyo's popular Shibuya entertainment district.

WOW! NINJA in SHIBUYA can be viewed at https://wow-j.com/en/shibuya-ninja/.

According to a survey taken by the Japan Ninja Council last year, about 60 percent of foreigners overseas believe that ninjas still exist in Japan. DOCOMO decided to promote its new WOW! JAPAN website by leveraging the strong global interest in Japan's legendary stealth fighters.

As part of the WOW! JAPAN promotional campaign, DOCOMO is presenting daily showings of animated ninja projected on the Shibuya MODI building's outdoor screen. Two versions of the 90-second show are aired at various times day and night during intervals when all vehicle traffic stops at the large scramble intersection in front of the big screen. Airings will last through November 30.
