Philadelphia, PA, London UK, June 24, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - Thomson Reuters today announced the National Research Foundation (NRF), an independent government agency supporting research in South Africa, has selected InCites(TM) to analyze institutional productivity and benchmark its research output versus peers worldwide.
InCites, a citation-based research evaluation tool on the Web, enables academic and government administrators to gain a greater understanding of their institution's research activity and output, and make more informed strategic decisions based on customized data sets. Backed by citation data from Web of Science(TM), InCites captures essential metrics such as total papers, citation impact and collaboration indicators, combining them with powerful tools and reporting mechanisms.
