HONG KONG, Aug 3, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - The "2011 Peak Team China Tour" press conference of Peak Sport Products Co., Limited ("Peak" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries the "Group", Stock Code: 1968) was held at Grand Millennium Hotel in Beijing on 2 August 2011. Six NBA stars, including Jason Kidd and Shane Battier, showed up at the press conference in person. They together with Beno Udrih (who will arrive later) will interact with their passionate fans in nearly twenty cities in China in the coming week. The basketball culture represented by the NBA and the Peak brand will be brought closer to the public and Peak's international and professional brand images will also be further enhanced.
Starting from 2007, the Company has been holding the Peak Team China Tour for five years. This event has become the most influential NBA pageant in China and the star lineup has been growing in number year by year. A total of seven NBA stars have come to China this year and they are Jason Kidd, Shane Battier, Kevin Love, Dorell Wright, Patrick Patterson, JaVale McGee and Beno Udrih. During the week from 2 August to 8 August, these NBA stars will visit a number of cities in China and interact with Chinese fans through various means, including media conferences and basketball camps. The event will enable more Chinese fans to have a close contact with the NBA stars. With an aim to fulfill more passionate fans' wishes of meeting their idols, the stars will also visit some mid- and small-sized cities such as Chengde and Xiangfan in addition to those first tier cities such as Shanghai and Guangzhou.
