Sweden, Nov 1, 2011 - (ACN Newswire) - SWEP officially launches the DP700, a brazed plate heat exchanger with the function of an evaporator and condenser for chillers. The true-dual DP700 is designed for R410A chillers, with a cooling capacity range up to 700 kW.
The DP700 enables for high performance and low pressure loss on the secondary side, and is short and compact which creates space for other system components.
SWEP's AsyMatrix(R) plate design for high performance is another feature of the product. The AsyMatrix(R) channel configuration increases thermal performance, reduces refrigerant charge and decreases the pump power needed for the circulation of chilled media.
Segment Manager Rikard Johansson at SWEP is proud to bring another AsyMatrix(R) product to the market: - The DP700 outperforms traditional BPHE evaporators for chillers. It is designed to cope with current and future demands for energy efficiency. The AsyMatrix(R) technology enables for customization of the plate design to a specific application. This ensures optimized energy efficiency in the system, saves money for the consumer and has a positive effect on the environment.
