東京, 2018年1月18日 - (JCN Newswire) - NECは、高性能小型レーダ衛星「ASNARO-2」(注1)を、宇宙航空研究開発機構(以下、JAXA)内之浦宇宙空間観測所より、1月18日午前6時6分にイプシロンロケット3号機にて打ち上げを実施しました。
「ASNARO-2」はロケットからの分離後、午前8時13分までに太陽電池パドルおよびレーダーアンテナの展開を確認し、現在計画通り地球を周回しています。
NECは今後、初期運用を約5か月間、予定する軌道(注2)において画像チューニング運用を約3か月間実施したのち、定常運用へ移行します。
なお打上げ直後、NECはクリティカルフェーズ運用(注3)開始を計画しており、終了次第お知らせします。
