日立グループは、ウクライナで被害にあわれた方々や周辺地域に避難された方々の人道支援を目的として、約300 万米ドル(約3.5 億円)の寄付を実施していきます。具体的には、日本赤十字社および日本ユニセフ協会などへの寄付に加え、従業員が寄付を行うと会社側も同額を寄付する、Benevity社のサービスを通じて、日立グループ・グローバル全体で米国赤十字やシンガポール赤十字などのウクライナ支援プログラムへの寄付も行っていきます。
