Equipping Business Professionals with Effective Communications Skills to Inform, Influence & Inspire
Qualities of a Charismatic Speaker - How Many Do You Have?

SINGAPORE, Feb 24, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - Everyone wants to be a dynamic presenter. Effective public speaking is a powerful tool to build your business and advance your career. It can inform others, influence minds and inspire action. Take for instance Steve Jobs. Apple may have the best products around. But it was Steve Job's charisma, his ability to inform and inspire, that captivated consumers. Similarly, if you are not able to connect with your audiences and win them over, you are losing valuable business opportunities. The same applies to your leadership in your organisation. An influential leader can motivate and inspire the team to effect change and fulfil the business vision.

However, charisma is not an innate ability - it has to be cultivated. Even the most influential speakers like Steve Jobs and Hillary Clinton had to develop and sharpen their public speaking skills to help them command authority in any setting. In fact, Steve Jobs did not have a natural flair for public speaking. He felt sick during his first interview in 1978 and read from notes when he unveiled the first Macintosh in 1984. It was only through the constant refinement of his public speaking skills that made his presentations look effortless.

To equip business professionals with practical skills and techniques to deliver influential presentations and speak with confidence, credibility and impact, Pacific Conferences has organised a 2-day interactive workshop on "Dynamic Presentations & Public Speaking", to be held in Singapore from 27-28 March 2014 and Hong Kong from 3-4 April 2014. It will provide verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to engage audiences, storytelling, visual and technology tools to develop a compelling presentation, and strategies to handle challenging questions with confidence and authority.

The 2-day workshop will be led by Justine Moss, a highly dynamic trainer with over 18 years of international experience in communications and media industries. Justine works with senior executives in multinational, national and public organisations across Asia Pacific to enhance the impact of their interpersonal communications & personal branding. She has conducted training for a range of high profile organisations including American Express, KPMG, IBM, eBay, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Nokia. Justine is also Radio presenter on 938 LIVE in Singapore and event host for small, prestigious VIP events to large scale, high profile launches.
