South China Financial Strengthens Management Team Industry Veterans to Boost the Group to New Heights

HONG KONG, Aug 10, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - South China Financial Holdings Limited ("South China Financial" / "the Group") (Stock Code: 00619) is pleased to announce major appointments to the senior management team to formulate and oversee business strategies for the Group's three major business units, including investment banking, wealth management as well as the securities business.

Ms. Freda Wong has recently joined South China Financial as Head of Investment Banking and Private Equity. Prior to Ms. Wong assuming the new position, the Group has appointed Ms. Eva Law as the Managing Director, Wealth Management of South China Financial and Mr. Eliot Li as the Managing Director in charge of the securities, commodities, forex and bullion businesses of South China Financial. The three industry veterans substantially strengthen the management team and can help lay a solid foundation for the Group's future business growth.

Biographies
Ms. Freda Wong is the Head of Investment Banking and Private Equity of South China Financial. She has more than 15 years' experience in investment banking, direct investments and private equity business. Ms. Wong has completed a number of initial public offerings (IPO), mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt capital raising exercises, direct and private equity investing as well as in an advisory function in other transactions. Prior to joining South China Financial, Ms. Wong held senior positions at CITIC Securities International Company Limited ("CSI"), including Managing Director for Investment Banking, Direct Investments and Private Equity, respectively. During her career with CSI, Ms. Wong led and completed some of landmark transactions in Hong Kong, including the Huxian REIT IPO, the first RMB-denominated REIT globally; and China Eximbank's Dim Sum Bond offering, the first batch of Dim Sum bond offerings. Previously, Ms. Wong also worked in DBS Asia Capital Limited, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Ms. Wong holds a bachelor of Business Administration degree majoring in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree. Ms. Wong is a Fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and an Associate member of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants.

Ms. Eva Law is the Managing Director supervising Asset Management, Wealth Management and Lending Business of South China Financial. She is a Chartered Family Office Specialist in the Family Office Institute, United States and a STEP Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Ms. Law is also the Founder and Chairman of the Association of Family Offices in Asia and the Association of Private Bankers in the Greater China Region. She is also the Founding Member of Women in Leadership - Hong Kong & Pearl River Delta Chapter, the Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Family Offices Association and the Executive Chairman of the Association of China Independent Wealth Advisory Institutions - Family Office Council. Prior to joining South China, Ms. Law worked at Bank of Communications Head Office in Shanghai as Representative in Hong Kong, Private Banking & Cross Border Financial Services. She has also been the Director of Wealth Management and Strategic Development at Oriental Patron Financial Group and a Registered Responsible Officer of Standard Chartered Bank.

Ms. Law earned a Master of Business Administration degree at University of Iowa and a Master in Managerial Leadership degree at Edinburgh Napier University. She also possesses the Executive Diploma in Investment Banking and Mergers and Acquisitions from the University of Hong Kong, SPACE.

Mr. Eliot Li is the Managing Director of South China Securities Limited. Mr. Li is a Chartered Wealth Manager of the Chartered Wealth Manager Institute and the Director of the Hong Kong Association of Online Brokers. Prior to joining South China Securities, Mr. Li held senior positions including Director, Corporate Development, Sales and Marketing and Vice President, Corporate Planning and Development at First Shanghai Financial Holding Limited. He was also in charge of the Public Relations Dept. at Hutchison Global Communications.

Mr. Li has earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He also possesses the Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from University of Leicester.
